2 Thessalonians 1:3 (nlt)
3 Dear brothers and sisters, we can’t help but thank God for you, because your faith is flourishing and your love for one another is growing.
2 Thessalonians 1:11–12 (nlt)
11 So we keep on praying for you, asking our God to enable you to live a life worthy of his call. May he give you the power to accomplish all the good things your faith prompts you to do.
12 Then the name of our Lord Jesus will be honored because of the way you live . . .
Hebrews 10:23–25 (nlt)
23 Let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm, for God can be trusted to keep his promise. 24 Let us think of ways to motivate one another to acts of love and good works. 25 And let us not neglect our meeting together, as some people do, but encourage one another . . .
Heavenly Father, I thank you so much for the faithful and loving people you have connected me with. I thank you Lord that our faith is flourishing and our love for one another growing.
I pray for us together Lord. That you would enable us to live a life worthy of your call. That you would give us the power to accomplish all the good things you have called us to do. Please do all that you purpose to do, in each of our lives, and in our lives together. For one reason Lord, that your Name would be honored in all that we do, and because of the way we live. That your name would be honored Jesus.
By your grace and your power, let us hold tightly without wavering to the hope we affirm. Let us hold tightly Lord, because you can absolutely be trusted to keep your promise. Lord, help us to watch out for one another, to see when another needs encouragement, and let us spur one another on to love and good works.
Let us not neglect one another Lord, let us not neglect meeting together, but help us to hold one another up.
I thank you Lord, for the faithful and loving people you have connected me with to serve you. Please continue to transform us and grow us, by your grace, by your power, and for your glory. In your name, amen.
